COLLINGSWOOD, NJ -- (April 2009)- United Methodist Homes of New Jersey awarded Hawks & Company a contract to replace the HVAC unitary equipment in all resident rooms at Collingswood Manor, a 200-bed skilled nursing and assisted living facility. The contract will resolve nearly 15 years of operational inefficiencies due to complications from the original installation and ensure that the Collingswood facility is compliant with emerging environmental standards. The R-22 heat pumps will be replaced with R-410 heat pumps. It will also support United Methodist Homes' mission to deliver exceptional care while enhancing the lives of its residents. In addition, Hawks & Company will implement an energy saving retrofit that will provide a ROI of less than 2 years. This work is expected to begin in the summer of 2009. "We are delighted to work with United Methodist Homes to resolve their heating and air conditioning problems," stated Marty Rosica, President of Hawks & Company. "Hawks' problem solving capabilities and our experience working in senior living facilities enables us to deliver real value at Collingswood Manor. We quickly identified the problem and partnered with our client to deliver a cost-effective, environmentally compliant solution." About United Methodist Homes About Hawks and Company
