Case Studies: Technical Facility Services

Class A commercial office building, Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Challenge: lack of internal technical infrastructure to effectively service tenant requirements.

Solution: An integrated technical facilities service model incorporating the transfer of all day-to-day tenant service requests (including light/ballast replacement, restroom service and repair, door locks, electrical service and repairs) with routine building operations issues and reporting from the building owner to Hawks & Company. This approach was coupled with a traditional HVAC preventive maintenance service agreement.

The HVAC equipment under contract includes 3 120-ton rooftop HVAC units and 90 VAV units in the tenant spaces.

Results: By integrating the services of both contracts the new owner now benefits from a reduced operations budget as well as a reliable, single point of contact for technical issues at their new building.
